VR can be used for a variety of applications. It can be used as a training tool for its’ end-users or informational purposes. The applications are unlimited which means any environment can be created in VR for production purposes. Currently, VR is used in healthcare, architecture, entertainment, business, education, and much more.
Virtual production combines physical and virtual elements using a suite of software and hardware. This can be done in real-time which allows directors, actors, and the client to see the final composite while in production. It allows visuals effects to happen before any postwork is done. It also provides the ability for pre-visualization if post-work is needed which saves time and money for the production.
